Our specialized team of experts represent over 100 years of cumulative experience working in the poultry, swine, beef, and dairy production businesses. Our History
Gowans was founded by Jim Gowans, a member of the Alberta feed industry, who recognized the need for a professional animal nutrition service independent from any feed product or feed business. He started Gowans Feed Consulting in 1990 and quickly established a reputation for delivering effective and transparent solutions for producers faced with the ongoing challenge of minimizing on farm feed costs.
Today, Gowans continues to embody Jim’s original vision and mission as they advance the business to address new challenges and opportunities in an evolving animal production environment.
